Juma

You can be praying for Juma.  He has had a rough year.  He has been tempted on many different fronts.  In some ways he has stayed strong and in others he has fallen.  It has been discouraging at times for us.  We have tried to help him both practically and spiritually and have been rejected in both ways.  It has involved the difficult tasks of me confronting him with his sin and receiving a cold (or we could say "hot") response.  We still have great hopes for him, but the time frame for those hopes has been extended, and we like things to happen NOW.  In all this we know that God is at work for Juma's good.  It seems that we hardly ever understand the mechanics behind how God is building his church here in Jalunga land, but we trust that when we look back on it sometime in the future, it will be an amazingly brilliant plan.
