Teaching

In my travels back and forth to Madina I have resumed teaching some of the folks I was working with last year.  The most exciting for us is that I’m now meeting with Janji and his wife Bintu.  When I was teaching Janji last year he was telling Bintu about it and being interested she asked if she could start coming when we study.  This is a small milestone as in traditional Jalunga thinking the women ride on the coattails of their husband.  If he is accepted by God she will be too.  Of course this is very dangerous thinking so we’re pleased to see Janji understand the need for his wife to hear God’s word for herself.

There are quite a few of the guys I was teaching last year that I haven’t seen yet as they have gone off to work in other villages or towns.  Please pray that I’d be able to see these guys soon and resume meeting with them.
