When we return to Senegal in the coming spring, we plan to move closer to the men who are interested in the teaching so as to be better positioned to disciple them.
We also desire to start teaching their wives and children, with the help of the men, so that they too might understand the gospel.
Also, there is a huge need for literacy on the part of the men who have heard the teaching. Some have a very limited ability; others are illiterate.
Another goal will be for Lindsay to complete her Jalunga language
study. She is already well along and is able to converse casually but
we would like to see her get to the next level. (Don't ask me how this
will work practically. We are so thankful for consultants that will
help us in these ways.)
Lastly, we desire to see other villages in the area have access to the evangelistic teaching as well. There are a couple of villages that have expressed interest this last year. Our living in close proximity will make this much easier to do this.
We'll be writing in the future with more detail about our move.
